Forum rules

3. Provide a short explanation of why you need the unlock or update done.
4. Include your editor rank
5. Thank the user who solved the request (thumbs-up button) and mark the thread Solved when verified complete (checkmark/accept answer button).

Please note that a higher level editor may choose to fix an unlock request themselves so higher value segments will remain protected at their level.

Melrose Drive Phillip (Canberra) Lvl 3

Hi,
I've been driving with the audio on for the TTS instructions (even though I know where I'm going :)) and was surprised by an instruction to 'turn left onto Melrose Drive', when I was already on Melrose Drv. Looking in the editor it seems the angles on the bow-tie intersection (south bound only) are too great.

Could someone please unlock for me to adjust.

Super. Thanks Andy.
I've renamed Melrose Drive to Dr and also did the unlocked bits of of Hindmarsh Drive too. Thanks for connecting my carpark to Hindmarsh. (It seemed such a trivial thing to ask for an unlock request…)
I also noticed some missing connector roads on Melrose Dr here: https://www.waze.com/editor/#?zoom=7&la ... 78&env=row
Can you please check when (if) rlocking Melrose Dr/Hindmarsh Dr.
I'd be happy to rename the remainder of Hindmarsh Dr, but note its rather long and will have multiple city/suburb names.

Both have been dropped. ;)

On a side note: - a number of streets still are not being abbreviated as per the Wiki: - How to label and name roads(Australia) and have full names such as Melrose Drive, Hindmarsh Drive etc

Just a tip:

I assume you are using a Mac, because it adds a "#" after https://www.waze.com/editor/ (happens to me as well). If you remove the hash from the url, when you click on the link it will then have the segments selected and zoomed to the level you were at when you created the permalink.

Otherwise it defaults to the zoom level of currently what we are editing at, so if we happen to be zoomed all the way out thats what we get/see when we click the link. It also will not have the segments selected either. :(
