xyzzy7 had a precise location problem with screenshot and permalink above.

My issue was more that if you drive in Geneva you are on the french scoreboard in the app (see my screenshots above).

I would provide a permalink but it's a general region issue, not just about 1 place in particular ;)

UPDATE

This was discussed with Liz during the DACH Waze meetup and permalinks were shared with Waze so that they can check about borders' accuracy. They will also be looking into the scoreboard issue.

Now we just wait ;)

(copied on request from original thread)

I was trying to add a place in Dachsen, CH. It most definitely is in CH.

Waze thinks the location is in Jestetten (D) which is actually across the river. How are the country borders defined? It seems wrong at this location. If I try to save the location with an (incorrect) Jestetten(D) address, it works OK (subject to L2 approval). If I try to save the place with a (correct) Dachsen(CH) address, I get told that the place is "out of the country bounds". Screenshots including one from map.search.ch (authoritative on the border?) below.

Any ideas?

Just for the record, the issue I raised earlier in this thread is still unresolved. So I guess I will continue waiting ;)
