Waze mail about solving (or not) UR

Postby robindlc » Thu Feb 14, 2013 12:52 pm

Normally when someone solve (or can not solve) an UR reported by us, we receive a nice e-mail from waze IN ENGLISH, no matter whether we are in Spain or in any other country in the world.

However, I realized that, when I share my driving by e-mail, the mail is written in Catalan, just because I have the language of my device in such language...

So, question would be... Is it possible that, when I report an UR, the system keeps not only the user name but also the langauge of its device and then, send the answer in such language.

By doing so, no matter were I am, I will receive the answer in my languaje. Remember that not everyone understands English... ;)

Example mail from waze
Hi robindlc,

The map problem you reported on Waze on 12-Feb-2013 has been solved by DaGoUh; a Wazer like you, who has become active in updating and improving the Waze map for the benefit of the entire community.

While the problem was solved, it may take 10 days or so for the change to take effect in the app itself.

In the mean time, you can view the changes implemented by DaGoUh in the Waze map editor on our website. While you are there, you may want to try and edit the map yourself. It's easy and any change you make will affect the quality of navigation for thousands of Wazers in your area, as well as credit you with extra points.

Check out the video on How to edit the Waze map, or the Editing Manual and visit the Waze forum to interact with experienced map editors.

Example sharing my trip mail (in this case in spanish):
Sigue mi viaje. Puedes seguir mi trayecto en tiempo real: http://bit.ly/157Ynmy

But also in Catalán:
Segueix el meu desplaçament. Pots seguir la meva ubicació en temps real: http://bit.ly/128dkkf

So, can we transalte de UR solved answers to local languages?
