In addition to the information in the wiki sub-forum:

After some long discussions with country managers, global champs and other active community members we present the following structure for communication and decision making:
  1. Discussions about the way we work in the Benelux and the rules we have for editing and other matters can be started by anyone via any medium, like for example Hangouts, the Slack platform or the Waze forum.
  2. When the discussion or opinion is coming to a consensus or conclusion, the conclusions of the discussions must be posted in the Waze forum to be presented to all editing BeNeLux members. This will be done by an appointed discussion leader or the person who started the discussion. When necessary, polls can be used to get a clearer picture of the different opinions or propositions.
  3. When final / definitive decisions have to be made, this will be done based on a review of all arguments and motivations. When no agreement has been reached, decisions will be made and motivated by the active members of the Benelux Global Champs Group. Decisions will be posted on the forum.
  4. After decisions have been made, they will be put in the wiki as a future guideline or agreement; so it should be easy for everyone to find the rules that we, as a community, should be using.

Perhaps a little note on languages: we use English in the general BNL forum because of the multilinguality of this community. I propose that if someone wishes to react in his/her own language, that should be possible. A google translate to English is appreciated.
