Waze Benelux Teams

Hi Guys!!

All teams so far:

Here is an overview.

For some time we are working on new teams within our community!
For the past weeks people can sign up for a team with this form:

Because editing of the map is getting more and more done we would like to shift our attention to other tasks that need to be done inside of our community.
To make this work as good as possible for the coming weeks we would like to introduce some team leaders to you, who you can contact in case your having some problems with curtain issues.

Also we will publish some more info the coming weeks about the exact tasks these teams will get and how we will be working in those teams.

We are all very enthusiastic about this new start and hope to see an even better future for our community!! :D

New Routing Team

And the first new team is the Routing Team!!! :D

This team will be lead by Leo Renaud and Swen Vandenberk.

This team is set up to investigate and organise all routing problems within the community and also to try and fix those with better rules, or to contact Waze when it's an error.

We will soon open a new forum where routing problems can be reported.
So if you have any routing question, or an error, please ask Leo or Swen and I'm sure they will be able to help you out! ;-)

Next up is the Website / scripts Team

This team will be lead by Ronald de Nooijer and Wim Vandierendonck and they are joined by David Westerink and Hessel Annema!

This team will start working on a general Benelux community website and also start building tools and scripts specially for the Benelux community.

You probably already noticed some new forums. All teams are starting to make new plans and will release these probably in or after the summer. We hope to give the community a new boost with these teams to make Waze even better. If you want to help in a specific team, let us know and we will add you as a team member. If you have other feedback, let us, or one of the team/leaders know! ;-)

Since last meeting we decided together with the other champs to change the teams set-up a bit.

Not all appointed teams were very active, so we decided to combine a few tasks and to create 4 new teams.

The Routing and Closures team are working well right now, so we will keep them as they are.

Further we will be creating these 4 teams:

Growth Team
- Social Media Content
- CCP
- PR
- Broadcasters
- Localization

Editing Team
- Closures
- Luxemburg
- Places
- MTE
- MapRaids
- Localization

IT Team
- Website
- Scripts

Waze Academy
- Wiki
- Onboarding
- Knowledgebase
- Mentoring
- Localization

We've created Slack and Hangouts conversations for these new teams.
If you want to participate in these groups, please let us know!!

Beta Team

This team will manage all Benelux beta (client) users.
The team will be lead by Jan Spoelstra.

All current Active beta-users will receive an email with information shortly.
