Here is the Permalink
for the original person reporting this. They search for 6018 n Winchester, Chicago and they get a bad location to the north of where it is suppose to be. The result should direct them here
So, I tried on Google and get a good return in proper position. I tried on Live map and Editor and also get a good return.
Now I tried on my phone. When I start to enter the address, and accept the auto filled result, it sends me to the north on Winchester, up by Thome
. This is the result the original reporter is getting too.
Now, instead of accepting the auto filled result, I scroll down to "More results for..." tab. I then go thru the Waze search engine and get 2 results for this address. Both are in the same and correct position. I then slide over to check the Google search engine and get one result, the good one.
So, the question becomes where does Waze get that auto fill result from? I would think Google, but then why do I get a bad result.
Could it be that there was a problem, someone moved the pin on Google, and it still gives the bad location thru the auto fill search. But once you force Waze to search on Google, you get the good result?
