I've read that you should hit the hardware back button then hit the search button on the screen which appears?

This is a known issue for several Xperia devices. IIRC, you can double tap the enter key or switch the phone to landscape to work around this.

Unfortunately, I do not help but double pressing ENTER. Helpful only in landscape mode.
Are there other options?

no search button

Postby koos147 » Sun Feb 19, 2012 9:28 pm

since the new version there is no search button
so i think i need to hit the enter button
but when i do that it gives me a return (new line) and will not search

I have try it with the on screen keyboard (android default) and the hardware keyboard
i have removed waze and re-install it
even this doesn't work

now i only can navigate to "favorite" locations

My device is a Sony-ericsson Xperia Pro (AKA MK16i)
