Yes, they updated the page since yesterday's posts.

The reinstall is not about the "fix" but about needing to gather data to find the bug. Instructions linked in the original post. If you're unwilling to help, then it will just take longer to find the solution.

Thanks for not helping. You're one of the reasons why it's taking so long to fix.

That's not all that is required. Please follow the steps as the link in the top post shows.

Debug mode may need to be turned on again, per the instructions. And once it happens again, there's several things Waze needs to debug. Download the support tools now so you won't have to later.

That's great news. It wasn't mentioned in the latest beta release notes. Even for the beta releases, we tend to get "bug fixes" as a generic statement and no link to bugs reported in either the beta system or bugzilla.

I am verifying with our Waze contacts to ensure we no longer need to send this information.

Those of you who have seen the search engines disappear from Waze one or more times: what is your mobile carrier?

Waze will be updating their app soon

I sent in my logs at 9:26 am, Nov 3rd and they quickly responded saying
"Thanks for the files, we have enough info to fix the problem and will release a new version soon."

I assume this means they've amassed enough data from users to determine what the problem was and they no longer need people to send in their log files.
