No, there is not. When there are significant gaps in data coverage, the app just doesn't send the data to the servers. After you have more experience editing in areas where you do have editing rights, you can apply for an area to manage.

Missing drive segments

I recently drove up the California coast, following State Route 1 all the way up the coast. My data provider apparently doesn't have good coverage in that area, and so my travels were not reported to the Waze servers in real-time. I had expected the Waze app to record my travels and report the trip when it connected, but apparently my drives are never to be recorded. I'd like the points, of course, but I'd also like to be able to fix some of the reported problems in those areas I drove.

Is there a way to recover these missing drive segments?
