Further to my last post, I've found that save works in some places, but not others.

A few minutes ago, I found a UR reporting a problem with this segment. Found the problem, reduced the segment from a through road to a spur, saved, looks OK. UR marked solved, saved, gone away.

A ha! I though. Save's working again. So off I went back to Rhosmaen and edit this road, making it two-way and naming it. Saved, no change.

Went down to Llandeilo as I spotted that all the roads I'd edited the other day have reverted, presumably down to the roll-back. Tried naming a couple of roads, but save has no effect. Is it that particular tile?

Moved focus to Norbury, Croydon. Added the cityname to a couple of segments and saved. It works!

So I think I've found a tile where saving isn't working. Is this happening elsewhere, or is it in one particular locality? Is it my set-up, or do others have the same problem in that area?

Please could someone go and try and edit some of the segments in Llandeilo, please, and let me know whether it works for you?

Thanks Iain, but I'm still getting variable results. I successfully renamed and saved the three streets you renamed in Llandeilo, and I've named and set direction two-way on all but the shortest segment of the street to which they connect. That last segment won't let me change it, and none of the other streets round there keep their new attributes when I try and save them. I've successfully renamed two segments of the B-road that runs through Rhosmaen, but the third segment and Pantglas Pk remain stubbornly un-named and unknown direction

If I delete a segment, I get the "While you were editing, the elements you're trying to save have been modified and/or deleted" message, even if it's the only action I take after refreshing the window.

I'm going to chill out for a bit and go and watch Broadchurch on ITV1. Perhaps WME will be better when I get back

I've just encountered an oddity, too. [EDIT] Well, that's the quickest fix I've seen. The problem seems to have gone away

This roundabout was way too large, about twice the diameter it is now. I had no problems selecting and deleting the original roundabout, joining the three segments making up the approach roads and creating a new roundabout of a healthier size, but WME wouldn't let me change the road name and city by selecting the "none" boxes, producing a "An error occurred while saving. Please try again" message.

I tried editing an unnamed service road, and found that I was able to add a street and city name and save, and I could set the street name to "none", but ticking the "none" box against city gave the error. Having applied the local city name to the roundabout ( - I firmly hold the view that roundabouts should NOT have street or city names), it's saved, with a "none" street, but I, too, now can't remove the city.

Clearly, the same problem that leocylau had earlier, but you can add a new city name. Is that progress?

And the road layer is v..e..r..y slow loading

I can't get into WME, WME Beta or Live Map - looks like the whole set of infrastructure is down apart from the forum - or my userid has been blackballed

Yes, getting a mixture of the map reverting to pre-edit state, or getting the "While you were editing, the elements you're trying to save have been modified and/or deleted", on both WME and beta.

WME is working, but none of the scripts are loading. Have Waze published a new version of WME?

I must have just had a lucky spell over an hour or so where everything seemed to work as intended but, trying again just now, saving has issues.
