Yes. The steps Waze took to cope with the rapid growth did obviously help. Since the structural changes are not completed, we can hope for even more frequent updates in the future.

There was a vision of nearly real-time updates. I don't see this in the near future, but things have improved drastically in all areas

And as often happens when a new map tile process starts/announced, the points stop updating.
