Hi Chris, looks like a new version of WME has been released and has broken loads of scripts, including WMEOD.

Very nice change, thank you.

A slight bug that may become an irritant. If you do something that might refresh the map, and with the OSOpenData dropdown closed, the visible map will load in a misaligned version of the Open Roads map, just for the visible view. I've found this mostly happens when you open up street view:

Question, is the overlay supposed to be showing when the OSOpenData dropdown is closed (and the Highlight by Classification is ticked), or are they supposed to show at all times (when it's ticked)?

Hey Chris, again, you've outdone yourself with the improvements, thank you.

One thing that bugged* me for a while (so it's a problem from the older versions too), is an issue with the Highlight potential naming errors function. When enabled, and you select a segment, the street list disappears. I've done a video showing the issue:

*Sorry for the pun.

Hi Chris, is it possible to add Keyboard Shortcuts to toggle the enable/disable the highlighted features, without needing to open up each section?

Hi Chris, WMEOpenData doesn't seem to be Applying the street and city names when clicking Apply to Properties.

That OS map is better than the old one. Bonus.

Hi Chris, are you aware of the Gazetteer tags not working?

Twister-UK wrote: Mon Jan 29, 2024 9:58 am Frustratingly, over the weekend I became aware of a problem applying names to segments - no idea what's changed behind the scenes in that part of the native WME UI, but the end result is that when WMEOD tries to alter a segment name, it'll start off by being able to change the street name but leaves the city name blank, and then if you try to reapply the change it blanks the street name but manages to get the city name set, and then each time you try to reapply thereafter it cycles between these two states of almost but not quite correctness...

There also appears to be some odd interaction between WMEOD and the MTE UI, such that if you try to apply a new segment name after you've done any editing of a MTE, WMEOD may end up reopening the MTE UI and trying to alter its address details, rather than opening the segment edit UI as expected.  TBH, I've no idea if this behaviour is new or has been around for a while without being noticed by anyone, but now I know it's there I'm going to have to do something about it, providing I can first fix the more pressing issue noted above.

HI Chris, to be honest, the first issue isn't a recent issue.  It's been going on for a few months.  I generally just refresh, and then I'm able to do it (which is the reason I've not reported it to you).

None of Twister's scripts work on Beta now, by design.

Not only WME beta I think. At least I can't use all the scripts on ff.
