As it happens, I've since learnt that the overnight package does actually includes a dinner in the hotel restaurant on the Friday night (7pm). We can then hang in the hotel bar, or retire over the road to the ‘home from home experience’ pub.

The probability of anyone being sat next to a "Chris", "Dave" or an "Ian" is really quite high...

This should be something that Waze UK could resolve, rather than Waze HQ, as marketing agreements are made on a country by country basis, so Nigel Fung should have been able to answer this if he'd had the chance to present, but as you'll recall, both he and one of the Waze HQ people had to leave the conference early. I'll drop a note to Finlay Clark to follow up on this.
