Pip, we haven't had any string changes to localise for this. I assume they're using the old old categories pre-translation (looks like it).

Will big Orit tomorrow about making strings available. Dave is collecting extra names we need which I assume he'll pass to me as Localisation Expert.

Neither did I?! OK they kept those old translations then. Still need to badger for the full list of TTS substitutions and expansions so there's a definitive list of everything I suggested at the start and any continuing ones in reference for the future

This is likely due to the fact that Waze have literally copied and kept the translations from wwwaaayyyyy back. Will make contact with Orit tomorrow and assuming she's back in Israel will ask for a fresh string upload so Dave and myself (and others) can go through it and see what works (locally and functionally).

I didn't even know there was such a thing....

I note we have a category for cemetery, but I don't see crematorium.

So I guess the blurry steering wheels, cats curled in baskets, green BT phone cabinets, rubbish bins, are gonna get rejected... ;)
It seems even this isn't clear to some. I've seen what looks like a picture of a TV inside someones bedroom.

(I might've done the above to gain experience in using WME )

But... majority of parking lots should just have an in and out. It would be a pretty hopeless driver who can't navigate their way around? Perhaps I'm "old-school"

As for shops in shopping centres, I think it should be sufficient just to have the centre name and maybe the biggest stores to be found there, with appropriate parking lot roads to help people park as close as possible.

(I'm thinking of the likes of Meadowhall or the Gateshead Metro Centre)

Else that would cause another set of trivial headaches, wouldn't it?

A local Sainsburys tried to invoke a set of one-way lanes in their car park, but some drivers just ignore the signs!

Do we have to check all Landmarks/Places are correctly assigned?

So... Waze is not just a simple commuting tool after all?

Should I start a separate thread in here for Places guidance discussion, or in this thread. I'd like to kick off with parking
