Waze forum

Much of the Great Lakes are missing from the Live Map, particularly when zoomed in near Canada, or when zoomed out to the region or continent. The map is visually confusing in these areas.

There is a hidden water layer in Waze we can not control.

It contains only the US portions of the Great Lakes because Canada has not provided info on their side to Waze...

Thanks for the quick reply. Do we assume this is a known problem with the water layer then?

Also, is there a way to address the issue of the inconsistent zoom? Are some tiles older than others?
