Hey Guys!

I was looking at some of the examples here.
Could you explain what was the expected behavior from the routing in these cases?

I'll check everything with the routing team. Thanks!

Never mind, we got all the data.
Already fixed the issue and deployed to RBS, will deploy to Prod in a week or so.

Thank you!

Reporting a U-Turn challenge here: https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lo ... st=7415319

Not sure what should be the best approach. Coming from the south, U-Turn is allowed by law. Coming from the north, U-Turn is disallowed by a sign. Not sure if Waze app should be able to handle that or if a Junction Box should be created.

Thanks.

JMS
If you set up proper u-turn prevention with 180 (+/- 5) parallel roads and less than 15 m (14 m if using the buffer) for the way that the u-turn is prohibited. Then on the other side where u-turn is allowed have a micro-dog leg so that you do not meet the 175-185 degrees and the u-turn will be allowed

I altered the road with the microdogleg here to allow the u-turn in the southbound to northbound direction (i.e. coming from the North).

For clarification, in Canada we'd prefer to use a JB rather than hacks like "micro-dog leg". Please let me know if this particular intersection still needs to be addressed.

Hi, the PL for the U-turn is in Ohio, USA. I have no knowledge of Canadian policy and I am not trying to set any policies up in your country. If I am correct the forum was not originally in the Canadian forums. I apologize for any confusion.

Had two U-turn prevention fails myself today. Doesn't appear that this fix was applied this week.

I didn't realize it was a trend and nobody responded when I asked so I went ahead and fixed them.

I will only report them here when I see them from this point on.

You shouldn't disable that left turn because it allows people exiting the parking garage to the west of that intersection to go north on Alexis-Nihon.
