I'm still fielding reports concerning the water layer in the GVA. Any idea when this will be resolved?

I've seen similar issues with park place rendering in the client and run some tests locally. I have posted the discussion in another thread but need to be on my computer to find it. I think its an issue with either the size of the place or the number of geonodes defining it. I'd be really interested to hear back from devs as to their thoughts.

Yes, I see that now on the livemap! Just missing the closer zoom levels now :)

The client tiles still appear to be in the same state as before though! Hope this gets resolved soon. Props to the people behind the scenes working on this!

For the most part, Canada looks a lot better, although some of the Great Lakes shorelines are still missing.

Aw crap.

Here it is.
shirapashu wrote:The water layer is only good for USA, and a lot of water bodies are still missing in Canada. In there, users can still add it in the form of additional landmarks.
I'll post further information when it becomes available, if they choose not to post here themselves.

Yonatan, that's not what Shira said in the above-referenced forum post. Has something changed in the past two days?

Just bumping this post - still not fixed after almost 2 months. All of downtown Vancouver is under water, looks awful...
