Disaster Area Issues

Post by adetia
This is the first time this has come up within local proximity for me, and I'm having trouble finding answers to some questions.

I know in the Oklahoma tornados they had the ability to set up red cross shelters, etc.
Is there a landmark that is suitable for disaster relief setups? This would have been very helpful.

Is there a landmark that displays in another color besides gray/blue/green on the map?

I know we normally do not recommend road closures in cases where there is an active disaster but in the case of roads that simply do NOT EXIST anymore, or got gobbled up by whatever disaster, i.e. they simply won't be there when flood waters recede, etc, does it not make the most sense to close these off?

Landmarks types that would be extremely useful: (from my perspective)

* Danger zone being colored
* Evacuation zone Landmark
* Disaster Relief station landmark

Hi adetia,

i will suggest to use the same way to close the "broken roads" as the skagit bridge
http://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=201&t=50071

they simply disconnected both end until the bridge as been rebuild
this might be use only to fully demolish roads that will be rebuild from 15 days to 1 year of closure "my opignion", please wait a reply from a lvl 5 or more to do so, but highlight the road section in that case whitin this topic

thanks
