Bus (and HOV) only lanes should have segment restrictions -- you can set it to be "all day" for all seven days of the week (but only for some of the vehicle types) and then it will restrict it accordingly.

Alternatively, if they are ALWAYS bus-only (like transit centres), they can be marked as private roads as well.

In the future, please start a new thread for your update requests once the first one has been completed. This nearly got missed -- your question about bus lanes is also of more use in the Canada forum (most editors probably won't see the discussion here). I'll split it off so others can see it as well.

Just thought you might appreciate that. :)

Bus-only Lanes / Routes

Postby Nagamasa » Mon Mar 03, 2014 4:02 am

also, how are we supposed to mark bus only lanes/routes? from what i've read, it seems like we should mark it with timed roads/restrictions, but then Waze would still route it (and 99.9% of users arent bus drivers)
