Need help from a Level 4 editor

Post by stretch_o
The bypass in Paris, Ky (US-27/US-68) is not shown as a divided highway in Waze. It says it must be a level 4 editor in order to change it. Is anyone available to look at this?

Have you read When to divide a two-way road (and when not to) in the Waze Wiki?

Also, if you want someone to look at something, you should post a Permalink.

I just noticed it when i was checking out my area. I just wanted someone to look at it because i wasn't sure if it needed to be divided or not. I'm new to this editing and still in the very early stages of learning. Thanks for your help.

I can take a look. Did you review the wiki on when it is appropriate to divide a highway?

I took a look. There doesn't look to be any routing advantage to have the sides divided. Did you experience an issue there? There is a break for every turn and routing works. I should probably stay as it is.

If you would like to join us in our regions Slack channel, we can more easily talk about issues like this. Send me a PM with an email address we can send an invite. It doesn't have to be your primary account. Most of us create a gmail address dedicated to use with Waze related things.

Look forward to hearing from you,
