Route Editing?

Good evening everyone!


Since I have been using Waze, I have noticed that sometimes it doesn't seem to want to take the smaller rural routes when navigating. (I've made sure that there are no roads avoided under my options menu as well)
I personally know of several routes that are much shorter than the ones Waze and other GPS programs suggest. Some that even reduce the drive time by an entire 10 - 15 minutes!

I was curious to know if there was a way to add your own routes to the system? Like, is there any way that I can edit this in the Waze Map Editor? Is this something that I would need to take up with a Waze mod or admin?

Hey Tripp,

So glad you're here and that you're interested in improving the map.

This is actually something you may be able to fix yourself, if it's an issue with the map. Depending on where this issue is occurring, we can certainly find another editor who can help you in identifying and correcting any errors that may be on the map.
