Labas, Lietuva.

I've visited Lithuania recently and found very inactive Wazers there. I've added and fine tuned more than 600km in eastern part of your country with some towns, villages and landmarks like lakes. As I'm not very skillful in lithuanian, please check the village and lake names as street as well.

Be more active ;)

Thanks for your help, but we'll probably have to rename all the streets you created because of the guidelines that we follow :) We do not use "gatvė" and use "g." instead, because otherwise it doesn't sound correct grammatically with a translated client.

But I think I found the area that you drove through, so I will look at it and will fix. Every km counts, thanks! Did you like the lakes? :)

Sorry for gatvė. In Latvia we use full name like "iela" but some lazy people uses just name in genetive what is not incorrect but not good practice as well. I didn't make many streets and hope it will not be big trouble to rename. I started by gatvė 'cause ths the first place I look for example was called this way.

What do you mean by "it doesn't sound correct grammatically with a translated client"? Do you have Lithuanian voice guidance?

For the lakes. Yeah! I can say this is most beatifull part of your country. I have lived for some months in western part and have traveled many times in diferent parts of Lithuania, but have never been in east. This really beautiful nature there and everyone have to visit it.

For navigation your country is poor maped in many navigations systems. I am using Navigon as general software but streets in Vilnius and Kaunas was very incorrect. The same in TomTom. For Latvia I can say Navigon covers about 95% and very accurate - similar for Estonia. I can't understund what is wrong for Lithuania.

No prob, I fixed all "gatvė". The point is, different places in the client use different cases: nominative ("gatvė") is used in the map, but in directions it has to be accusative ("gatvę"). Therefore we have gone for using an abbreviation that is valid for both cases.

As for navigation quality, I believe that Waze is near-perfect in Kaunas (not to brag, but I live there :D ), Klaipėda is also quite OK but has some weird turns still not fixed. Other places sadly are a problem. I can't talk about Navigon as I haven't tried it, but your TomTom issues sound weird: from my experience, it has very good maps - I haven't found any issues apart from several newly built overpasses missing.

Try Navigon one day ;) I'am using it on iPhone and for last 2 years forgot where my TomTom hardware is :) TomTom has very good route calculations depending on road type, that Navigon hasn't. But Navigon's map coverage is stunning.

Good point for Wazers on iPhone (at least 4) is possibility to use Waze for new road recording while navigating with Navigon. Boths navigations runs simultaneously. May be the same is on other devices - not sure.

Sveiki,

Sekmes visiem, and keep reporting ;)
