Police report Alert

Sometimes I see police report alert notifications few miles before and sometimes I do not see police alert report notification at all. Is is normal? How it can happen?

I have the same issue (with hazard, accidents and cameras as well). Sometimes the alert notification is given and sometimes its not. I have not been able to figure any common circumstance for the alerts that are given and the alerts that seem to be missing.

How do you know if the report is for your side of the road or the other side?

Well, I've got something to look forward to when I can next attach my phone to my PC . . . This has been #1 on my request list for a long time.
