Green Mountain National Park near Ripton, VT

Post by RoadRunner802
Two "National Park" areas are erroneously shown in Ripton, VT.

We have no National Parks in Vermont, only a National Historic Park near Woodstock.

Unfortunately, there is no AT&T cellphone coverage there so I, as a level 2 editor, can not modify either place since they technically falls outside my editing area.

The areas shown fall within the much larger "Green Mountain National Forest" so it's not accurate to simply change "Park" to "Forest". I have no idea why they are even shown in the first place.

Can someone with a high enough editing level delete the areas if that is the best option?

Hey there,
Unfortunately this is outside of my edit area too, but lets try to figure out the issue. It is always helpful to have examples when we are trying to fix a problem, so adding a permalink is key. (Easy Video on Making a Permalink)

I think you are referring to the following two places

So these spots look old and the editor hasnt been active for over a year on WME. So as you mentioned there these are part of the Green Mountain & Finger Lakes National Forest so one could argue that the area should be more accurately expanded or removed. What is your opinion of what should be done? I can try finding someone to address the issue.

But I might also point out there a couple probably more pressing issues in the area
Should this road be oneway?
