State highways will be designated as AR-###. This aligns our naming with state GIS resources. Also, this standard is used by a significant number of states. It takes up less space on the mobile App screen. The App will announce roads as, for example, "Arkansas 23".

When assisting with the transition, editors should check lock level for the road type, and correct as needed. The great majority of state highways are are minor highways (mH) and should be locked to 3, at a minimum.
