Speed Limit Wiki Guidance

Post by steveinark
To State Editors:

Please note the addition to the Wiki of the National Guidelines on adding Speed Limits to the Waze map.

https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/Speed_limits/USA

There are several scripts to make this task easier. But Speedhelper makes it a "single point and click" function on the left menu, and is highly recommended. Click on a segment(s), and the speed choices pop-up for selection.

If you are new to scripts, go to the top of the page, at this link: https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/Scripts ... it opens a whole new world. Scripts not only make editing easier. But many identify, and help you avoid making common mapping mistakes. Contact me if you have more questions.

Arkansas has been approved by the Waze staff for activating the Speed Limit display function in the App. It should be turned on any day now. We now join all the bordering states with SLs active.

Our latest speed limit completion percentages, and rank in the US, with this project is:
