Points not updating correctly

In the last week, I have driven at least 500 miles. I've only received maybe 40 points. I commute at least 50 miles a day and drive to the big city once or twice a week. This seems to be a continuous problem after reading comments on the Facebook page.

The https://support.google.com/waze/ pages are all about the app in general, I was using the links to reply to the original poster at the time.

Since November there has been other threads that discuss this issue more in detail, you're not alone in this. Waze staff/support has been made aware of this and they haven't given a formal response yet, however some people have reported that old Drives seem to start appearing little by little.

These are the threads that have been forwarded to Waze support: For Drives and for points.

As not to have duplicate conversations where things have to be repeated in multiple places, please use the most current main threads where the majority of the discussion is happening to keep all information and focus in fewer places. Thank you.

Vince, this is actually an app issue. Since the last app update (at least on the iPhone), miles have not been logging correctly.

I drove about 330 miles on the 15th and the app logged about 50 miles; on the 16th I drove 671 miles and the app logged 47 miles; and on the 17th I drove 621 miles and the app logged no miles. Yesterday I drove 578 miles with no interrupted service of the Waze app. The app logged 371 miles. Points received, according to the dashboard = 0.

During the last update, there seems to have been a glitch in the app that is causing an issue with logging the miles and an issue with not correctly giving points for miles. Many of the days listed, I even manually sent logs at the end of the day.

I'm only giving you details of what I've noticed since the last update because it appears you may have a line of communication with the developers. The more information they have, the better they can pinpoint the problem.
