I'm responding to the update request for this
ramp. The request states:
while on the ramp I was told to stay left at Dorsey Run Road and then turn left on Dorsey Run Road. I figure the Ramp has its own name or would be called Ramp or would just be an unnamed Road. the guidance should have been stay left and then turn left at Dorsey Run Road.
It seems to me that the current instruction set overuses "at." There are a couple of circumstances where "at" makes the instruction confusing. The first is where the road name starts with "to," such as an entrance ramp. In that circumstance you are not exiting "to the left at I-97" rather you really are exiting "to the right to I-97." The "to" is the name for a purpose, to ignore it seems to be error to me. The second is where the segment is unnamed and the instruction picks up the name of the next named segment for the turn prompt. In this case you are by definition not "at" the road named but rather are being directed "to" it.
