Routing server

The routing server is problematic again this afternoon. Tried 3 or 4 times and each attempt timed out.

Routing server

It had been better, but it's still not reliable enough for my liking. Timeouts are still commonplace enough to not be a surprise.

Routing server

Now that points, routes and the live map are updating on a regular basis, perhaps Waze HQ could turn their attention to the routing server as sadly if fails all too often :-(

Routing server

The routing server was even worse than normal this morning. :(

I had a route, but asked to check alternatives but then the routing server failed the route was lost.

This lack or routing server started at 6.50am UK time and was still present at 8.15am when I reached my destination. I tried to recalculate the route every 5 mins or so.

I've been unable to gain a connection with the routing server for the the last 36 hours or so. Constantly get this:

EDIT: Ignore the wifi/bluetooth icons at the top of the screen - I don't have this switched on when driving.

may be OT , but is anybody getting the issue "searching network........."
In Italy is more and more frequent and the amazing story is that, meanwhile Waze is " searching network".... internet connection, applestore and whatever other program requiring internet is working without any problem.

The same on android , with a small difference (but using the same carrier) : when iphone has a problem android works fine....and vice versa

I suspect the problem still continues. At least some hour ago, I was not able to get any route at all, for a longer time.
Some 3-4 hours ago, I could get a route at least on a subsequent requests.

Hi,

Indeed one of servers hiccuped this morning.
Now everything should work as normal.

Thanks,

I thought it had been a lot more stable recently. Other than odd one-off blips this is the first sustained failure I've experienced since Paris.
