Have tried every fix offered, numerous times without getting my gps back. Driving me crazy because I really need Waze to find my way round for work.
Finally found the suggestion about removing the phone case and it worked! Totally senseless- have had the phone in this case since new 18 months ago and never a problem. Other gps apps continued to work throughout. I wish someone could explain- I hate this sort of glitch :|

Mid-related. My wife experienced no sound on phone mic so she was forced to use hands free every time. I decided to test taking off battery, so removed case and problem solved.

Cases are just plastic and/or rubber, no metal at all; maybe is just about temperature.

Not related. I met and old lady who couldn't use a wireless phone because device in his hands rebooted every time and that model has no reboot option (insert The Twilight Zone music here).

-AMAZING! I had the same thing - although not a new case - but after reading your post, the minute I took my case off GPS started working! Thanks for the tip!
