It's been mentioned several times, but Waze is designed as a commuter app. Long trips, or routes through very congested cities can cause routing server timeouts due to the amount of calculations the routing server needs to do, so pick a spot in the middle and break your trip into two routes, that often will succeed.

I had received about a dozen UR's in Massachusetts about that error but I was able to get routing from the Boston area to north of Montreal over the last week without issue. Not sure if that was because it is very rural or if the problem has been fixed to some extent.

I can't seem to generate a route to Myrtle Beach from Long Island and that's about 700 miles.

I have the exact same problem. It didn't start until the most recent update. I'll also be going back to Google maps until these issues have been resolved.

I am getting Routing Server Timeouts for any request for a planned drive (within range) that is not for 'today'. It is not a distance issue.

Happening on both IOS and Android. Using alternative data network providers. Same results. Different User on each device.

Feel dirty having to go back to google maps...

Does this mean users may have a route fail in the app, but will work ok in the livemap now? If so, how do we know what to submit through the form? Every user report of a failed route in the app, regardless of if we can reproduce in livemap?

I love using Waze, but for this longer routes it doesn't work very well.

1,350 km driving distance or straight-line between the start and stop points? That is awfully close to the current limitation of 1,000 mile maximum routes and may be why Waze won't give you a route.
