Where's that Language go (Jaap/Erik)

Postby sarathenailbender » Wed Nov 01, 2017 2:30 am

Where did Jaap (Erik) Netherlands voice/language go? It was my go-to language & voice when I needed voice navigation to distinguish it from other conversations or music in my car.

The new ones from the Netherlands are not as distinguishable, uses miles vs. meters which sounds odd after using Jaap (Erik) for so long, and the dialect/wording is not the same.

Was it discontinued for use in the USA?

Jaap-Erik is discontinued, not only for the USA but als for the ROW.

You now only can choose Bram and Thomas (Flemish) and Femke (with streetnames).

In the Netherlands these voices use kilometers instead of miles
