Actual location lagging behind

Postby reefratt » Sun Nov 19, 2017 3:27 am

Both myself and my wife are having issues with actual location lagging behind. When coming up to a turn we end up passing it because our location shows we haven’t made it there yet. We’ve been using Waze for years and this has just started happening. iPhone 7 Plus.

Waze car position/location delay

Postby jutes_g » Sun Nov 26, 2017 12:02 am

I've noticed lately (past 2months) that Waze shows a delay in reflecting actual position into the map. Example: coming up to a street and turning into the street... There is about a 20m difference between Actual gps position and the one shown in the map. This particularly unforgiving in roundabouts where accuracy is required to find your exit. This is seen in google maps before that is why I prefer to use Waze. But now Waze is showing the same. Is this because Google bought Waze?!?!
Please help, is there a "quick fix"..: maybe Waze can do a permanent fix to this very annoying glitch.

Note: I just tries my backup GPS app ( Copilot) and it is very accurate in reflecting my actual location in its map.
