Haha, I'm at work ("critical employee") but there's little work to be done here. Nonetheless, no editing until I get home.

BTW this is how you get to work when there's a travel ban or if you don't want to shovel out your car. I used waze.

Everything easterly to huntington mostly done except these segments which are still locked to 5.

I've double checked and fixed some reversed segments up to the western point that the split has been done (Worcester).

I guess now we wait for UR's on places we screwed up the split.

Sad when a 10 year old Garmin GPS can easily handle something that this WAZE "next gen" active GPS application can't. It is obvious the basic application is broken and rather than resolve the deficiencies the DEV team has decided to "lock" the road and walk away, users and lower editors be damned. Statements such as "it would cause more problems than it would solve" is just plain lame. Garmin can handle this without a problem. I had hopes for a more enlightened response when Google took the reigns but that seems not o have taken place. Same old S**t and leaves a long trail of frustrated editors and daily driving direction fails for general users. This is not how to build an effective user support community. Or could it be we are all just data points and sensors to be sold to Google for their Google Map product? The value here is the information users generate. The usefulness of the product and accuracy of the data does not matter, just that we keep feeding them the accident and traffic reports for free, using our bandwidth to support a product that does not support it's users.

OK, as a matter of curiosity:

1) why does this segment have an elevation of 1 (vs. Ground)? Looks strange on the Live Map: https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lo ... s=78957649

2) road remains unsplit at intersections along Cochituate Road? Prevents other issues?

Thanks for all the work on this!

Can't speak to what motivated the editors, but URs are way down (after a few initial glitches).

Sadly I started this thread originally under a temp user name. This whole dang thing just wouldn't go away. However, the Champ who posted seems to have dropped off his editing and we may need to bump this again - perhaps orbitc is the one to go to.
