Lock level 3: Exton PA

Post by voludu2
I am level 1. These segments are locked at level 3 (mostly)

Route 30 (freeway) has several on and off ramps which are not named according to the guidelines at https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/Road_names/U ... n-ramps.29

For now, I would like to work on the sections within my edit area (there are many more examples further west of here)

Thanks for your help.

The following, which have a non-standard street name (some have no street name at all):
The following, which are simply missing city information:

https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lo ... s=57865213 (should be to US-30 Frazer Downingtown)
I fixed/updated the other segments however these 2 are suppose to be left un-named. This is how ramps are designed to work, the road names from segments ahead will filter down and give the correct instructions accordingly.

Right, if you look at the next connected segments they do contain the "to 30" prompts, the prompts will flow backwards automatically and give the correct instructions as there is 2 separate exit lanes there

I will run a route test Saturday and see if any additional changes are needed here

Ran a route test here, everything appears to be as it should. Added a wayfinder, that should help.

Thanks.

In the case of https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lo ... s=57865213

The segment could be named
"to 30 Frazer Downingtown" to match the sign on 202.

After the exit from 202, there are signs before the ramp splits into 2 directions.

I only bring it up because it is a very long pre-exit ramp, which then splits into 2 long exit ramps.

First there is the sign for the 2 exit lanes, which do fill up with exiting traffic. I think it is useful to attach the "keep right" warning with the actual text of the sign.

That is the extent to which I will argue for an additional wayfinder for this exit. Just my opinion.
