Problem with an Address - Berrien Springs

This UR has come up again. They have an address of 4435 Lake Chapin Rd, but to get to their house they turn off Lake Chapin onto Lake Chapin Shores and then to their (500 yard) driveway.

I forced an address on Lake Chapin Rd a few weeks ago, but that didn't fix it.

Any ideas what could be done?

Jay,

I looked at what you did, and that's what I did the last go around on this UR ( i removed my work before posting the help request). However, the tip on deleting search results may help. I passed that on to the Reporter.

Adding/editing house numbers alone won't force the address. Check the forum topic here:

I edited the road to force an update. That should take a couple of days.
The reporter will need to delete the prior search result result before attempting to verify the corrected location.

I didn't see the address in the editor, so i tried adding it. I moved the marker all the way to their house. It may be too far off the road. if so, we can move it back closer to the road.

Thanks jdeyoung. Did some more digging and found this WIKI also. See the section in red. This person may be SOL.
