Condos, apartments, and mobile home parks, oh my!

No, seriously though. I see some of these areas have PLRs, some have PRs, and others have regular streets. Is there a standard? And do any of them get SLs?

Thanks, JB! It helps... enough to know that I won't change any that I find. Hahah

Hey Lyn.

As with a lot of stuff in WME... it depends.

Normally PLR is used in these cases - with no names, but PR can often have benefits. You can name a PR and assign house numbers if they are available. It's also easier to set SL if there is a posted sign.

Street class allows through routing and also allows Waze to use the development as a "u turn" on a reroute. PR (or PLR) prevents that and is often better.

Also. If the development is gated or posted private, we would use PR.

Hope this helps.

Don't assume it's correct just because it's there! We can always look at examples in the hangout.
