Mysterious CR-H57

Post by SuperMari0O
The decription for H-57 is a little too vague on the List of County Designated Highways:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Co ... _in_H_zone

I have narrowed the possibilities down to two options. They are:
Brevort Lake Rd
https://www.waze.com/editor/?lon=-84.89 ... 99&env=usa

and Worth Rd
https://www.waze.com/editor/?lon=-84.98 ... 99&env=usa

If you know of any other resources where I could find evidence of which road it is or see another option that I may have missed please let me know!

I really like this site, which explains a little more about H57: http://www.michiganhighways.org/listing ... 6-H63.html

I didn't read it in great detail, but it looks like at least a portion of Brevort Lake Rd is H57, which is all or mostly unsigned and corresponds to a forest service road or former forest service road.

It also appears on the "official" state map, so it looks like Brevort Lake Rd in its entirety based on that.

Did MDOT spell "Brevort" wrong, or does the lake actually have two O's (Brevoort)?

Or have an officially designated state highway for non-auto traffic on said island :-)

Ya I'm not sure about that Brevoort Lake... I will try to look into it. Michigan is definitely famous for multiple spellings.

Thanks for the great resources. That website is a lot more informative and accurate than wikipedia.
