U.S. Highway 95 South CLOSED December 27-28 in Las Vegas

We got info from our partners at NDOT that Highway 95 is going to be closed in certain areas.

LAS VEGAS, NEV. -- The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will close southbound U.S. Highway 95 between Decatur Boulevard and Martin Luther King Boulevard from 10 p.m., December 27, until 5 a.m., December 28, in downtown Las Vegas. Additionally, the Martin Luther King Boulevard to U.S. Highway 95 southbound ramp will be closed as well as the Rancho Boulevard to U.S. Highway 95 southbound / Interstate 15 ramp from 7 p.m., December 27, until 6 a.m., December 28.
The closures are needed for construction an 81-foot-tall, 2,606-foot-long High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) flyover structure linking U.S. Highway 95 with Interstate 15 as part of Project Neon – a nearly $1 billion 3.7-mile-long widening of Interstate 15 from the Spaghetti Bowl interchange to Sahara Avenue. Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. is the design-build general contractor, with Atkins North America as lead designer.
