Map edits for Grandoozy Music Fest

Postby kwsunny747 » Mon Sep 10, 2018 4:15 pm

Hi, I'm the traffic engineer for the Grandoozy Music Fest (as well as other festivals) and wanted to edit the map to depict the planned road closures for the event this weekend. I'm only a Level 1 user so I can't edit. Any suggestions? Thanks - Ken

Sorry for the tardiness of my response. We would certainly appreciate the help with event impact on traffic routing.

The map lock levels are set based on Waze guidelines and you are indeed limited at Level 1. That is to protect the routing functions of Waze since the reasoning or impact for some of the editing guidelines is not always obvious. However, we all started at the same spot and we are happy to help you get up to speed.

I will send you a private message to start the conversation on getting more involved. Here are some basic docs on the most critical aspects of editing to help you get started.
