The place to discuss editing specifically related to house numbering (addresses): how to optimize locations, set stop-points, etc.

I vote for bugs.

Wish my vote counted.

I heard a rumor that Waze was now checking these two databases for duplicates when saving a place and/or house number. Meaning, if there was a confirmed house number and residential place with the same address, Waze would error-out indicating 'duplicate record' and not let an editor save the new duplicate record. Anybody know if this is a bad rumor or fact?

The last I heard, HN's still require a bump to trigger the time update, but residential places do not. Remember, it is Waze, I don't know if any of us editors can say for sure. [emoji6]

A long time ago I prioritized fixing the GMM pin over fussing with Waze, but then I discovered to my horror that Google seems to have some kind of self repair bot. At least, I found I couldn't count on my GMM fixes sticking, even when there was nothing about them to which I could imagine a human would object. That and maddening experiences trying to get obvious, significant problems solved (e.g. A Walmart pin off by a quarter mile, but getting it fixed was nigh impossible) and I hardly ever look at GMM any more.

Hi. This is my first time to post. I read some statements about updating house numbers, about imported location. I would like to request that my house number be put in Waze. How can I do it? Thanks.

From one of USA SM:

Address-based routing search preference changed in production.

New search order (stops at first one found);

1. RPP
2. Waze HN
3. Google HN
No longer any weird "Waze HN used as long as google house number exists and is 'close enough' to google HN"

So even if Waze HN is not nudged it still Routes to the segment that the anchor is attached to.

I would like Waze to be able to route me to an address with HN "3A". At the moment, the "3A" HN is added in the HN layer (has been for about 2 weeks or so, so I am guessing the tile is already updated).

If I search for the address (Street and number) in the App, it won't find it.

If I set it as Residential, it won't allow me to have the "A" (non-numerical) in the HN field.
I'd rather not set it up as Area, as the actual place is too small for that.

What other options do I have ?

It would help with a Permalink to the area.

But main question is there a city name (primary or alternate) associated with the address?
Here is the permalink:
https://www.waze.com/editor?env=row&lon=21.25051&lat=45.72307&s=1203764735&zoom=7&segments=354310151
#3 is added as both HN and Residential; it appears in searches; 3A is only HN, nowhere to be found in searches; "3A" is not allowed for a Residential Place.
All other details of the segment are set (City, County) since long ago
