Odd. Does it do that with only one address to save? Have you tried to delete the 431 first and save and then add it again?

FYI: Nearby intersection is too complex. https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat ... 0,70193305 should be 1 segment 2-way. And https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat ... s=70193314 is NOT a 2-way.

To troubleshoot, be sure you're using a supported browser (not IE), off all extensions, open up console, reload from permalink. Make the single change. See if any errors show in the console. If not, I'll try it to see if I get the same error.

That intersection still needs work:
https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat ... s=73668421: u-turn (left) should probably not be allowed
https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat ... s=70193310: right turn should be disabled because of the dedicated "right turn" lane already there.

Should it be moved to the end of the yellow arrow? Did you try just dragging the address to the new location?

Nope. Just thought of it when I was looking at it, since the number already was there. Maybe the code got confused by the existing one?

Should there be a "left" turn at the west end of https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat ... s=73668421. That turn is essentially a u-turn.

Force won't stick

Postby Thanos6 » Tue Jun 11, 2013 1:21 pm

I'm trying to add the street address for a local church, the building seen here: https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat ... TTTFTTTFTT

Now, the addresses on Shiloh St jump back and forth a lot and don't appear to follow any particular pattern, as you can notice by following Shiloh St south and looking at the other house numbers. Nevertheless, I have verified them as correct, driving down the road and making notes of all of them.

The church's address is 431 Shiloh St. When I try to save that address, it tells me I need to force it. I hit Force, but then the Force window just keeps popping up over and over again, until I finally cancel it. It won't let me save that address at all.

Yes, it does that with only the 431 alone. I added all of the residential house numbers first and saved them, they're fine. I had to do the church separately because it has no visible numbers that I could see on the building, I had to look it up at the county administrative building where I work.

Thanks for the heads-up on that intersection. I'll get to work on it.

Dragging it did the trick. Thanks, Alan! Any idea what the original problem was?

I fixed the right turn problem, but I'm not sure what you mean about the "u-turn (left)."
