Thanks qwaletee, I was hoping to avoid that if I could on this one. The private road branches on the property and it will get turn left/right on road name prompts a few times.

I have the same problem. I have 4 houses on a private road off of the main street. I need to add 1933A through 1933D using residential places because the House Numbers can not be applied to an unnamed road. HNs seem to allow letters, but Residential Places do not.

is there some advancement regarding house numbers with letters. Here, in Serbia, search with letters does not work and results from GMaps are unreliable.

I tried to contact higher level editors, champs, CM but no one knows the answer.

In areas of Wisconsin it is common to have letters (two of N, S, E, or W) in all house numbers. For example "W279S3173" is a house number... there is NO other house number identification other than these somewhat cryptic and apparently non-conforming numbers.

It sounds like Waze does not support this?

I'd like to echo the question above - when can this be rectified?

I think I read that Waze uses an integer to store the house number. I understand this may be a technical challenge to correct. However apparently in more than one area this simple approach just doesn't work.

If I understand correctly either Waze will not be able to navigate to houses in areas of Wisconsin - or a change needs to be made?

Have we lost the ability to add letters to house numbers completely now? I can't seem to add them in either production or beta versions of the editor...

Xanderb, a temporary workaround would be to name the private roads with the same name as the public road. This technique was used often enough in the past before we had residential places.
