Waze will not do this. We've asked previously and been told they want to leave it enabled so it is clear which Place the update is regarding.

URO+ does some of what you're after - it can hide place polygons/points according to their categories, but leave visible those which have associated place update requests (unless the PUR marker itself is also being hidden by the script). At the moment it will filter *only* on a category match, there's no option to apply the category filters independently to polys and points (though that could well make it onto my to-do list...)
