In Montevideo, Uruguay the city hall has announced a series of 19 roads (amount of segments) where they will be doing automatic speed control (thread of local community viewtopic.php?f=428&t=243030 - in spanish).

This means that the city hall might have mobile radars (the radars will move to other areas according to traffic, day of the week and time of the day) in the roads. These radars will take a picture of the infraction that will automatically send later a notification to the car owner.
The difference with the common mobile radars, is that the common will take the picture and you will be stop a few meters ahead for notification and paper control.

The idea is to request a new segment property for: segment under speed control.

If you are getting into a a segment under speed control waze can give you an alert (similar to current alerts) telling you about the speed control and the speed limit of the segment. If you have the speedometer it might be helpful to ha a small icon, that will disappear ones you leave the segment under speed control.
These feature might also be useful to user and alert drivers where you might commonly find common speed control, avoiding to continuously alert of police / radar that are temporal.
