Hawaii Aerials

Postby McCracken808 » Thu May 02, 2013 4:58 am

Ok. This is getting a little silly. Hawaii aerial images cannot be zoomed more than a level 5 in most places. The rest, a very small amount, no more than 7. I'd take the out of focus aerials over trying to edit at a zoom level 5. Any ideas when we might expect some love?

Three months later and no change. We are still getting aerials that we can't zoom in very much. Seriously, I'd take blurry aerials. It's very hard to edit at a high zoom level. Meh, the price of paradise.

I feel your pain. Best I can do is try to make the segments match what I can see, zoom in to clean them up, then zoom back out and squint to check them.

I'm pretty sure Hawaii isn't served by the same sources as the contiguous 48 states are. Though Google manages to equip Hawaii maps with better aerials than Bing. Now that Google owns Waze, there may be hope, but I'm not holding my breath.
