Feature request - Zoom area

One of the options you can enable in Google's maps is a zoom area. It's a little magnifying glass that appears under the zoom level bar on the left, and when you click it, you can draw a square around the area you want zoomed in on, at the level that will maximize in your current screen area.

Could something like that be enabled on WME? I do most of my editing from a laptop, and this would be a much easier method for me to zoom in on a UR than the double clicking - the W8 gestures for scrolling don't work exactly as designed, so that usually puts me way off, too.

hmmmmm....that's awfully small. I'll dig around and see if I can't make the picture bigger.

Wow, I never saw that page yet. That was exactly what I was looking for.

Now I feel like a total idiot.
