I agree - I am about to stop using Waze because of the use of Feet. I am currently trying using Km and metres but this is making this navigation less than perfect here in UK.

1 yard = 3 feet. The math doesn't seem all that difficult to me.

It seems incredible that the App does not have yards as a measurement option in the UK - feet are simply not used for navigation purposes in vehicles

Just come to support this request.
I'm used to Yards in other sat navs, and don't forget our road signs in the UK use yards, not feet.

The countdown markers to junctions and crossings for example.. They show 300, 200 and 100 yards to go.

I'd also like to support the request to add miles/yards as specific units of measurement; this would be an excellent addition to the app for UK users.

If this was planned a couple of years ago as noted earlier in this bread, is there any chance it will be added soon? Here's hoping... :-)

I'm a new user to Waze and I too find using feet instead of yards annoying. Should be trivial to reprogram. Another App I'm trialing has 4 options: Km or Miles/Feet or Miles/Yard or Automatic.

+1. Would be happy with a miles/metres option too! Currently using Km/m for units, as metres/yards far more important that miles in turn directions.

+1 Come on Waze, yards is a really basic unit of distance missing from an otherwise great app.

A new Waze user becoming very frustrated by "feet " as a unit of measurement here in the U.K.!

I'm used to Yards in other sat navs, and don't forget our road signs in the UK use yards, not feet.

The countdown markers to junctions and crossings for example.. They show 300, 200 and 100 yards to go.

I would accept Miles/Metres but why not Miles/Yards?

Would be very simple as there are three feet to every yard!
