Automatic "I'm driving" text message

Postby cjessing » Fri Dec 12, 2014 4:32 am

Dunno if this has been requested before but I would like to be able to set up a default (configurable) text message that would be sent to everyone who either texts me or calls me while I'm driving.

What type of phone do you have, iPhones already have this capability.

I have an Android phone. A OnePlus One. Is this feature a part of Waze for iOS? Or is it a separate app? I've found an Android app called Auto SMS but I would like the functionality to hook up to the start of navigation in Waze.

Where is this option on iPhone? I wasn't aware of any automatic reply option at least not one where it does not need interaction from the user

I know, old thread, but found this:

Prompted by your post, I found several apps that automatically respond to calls and texts while driving - it senses movement - it allows up to 3 apps to be allowed (a nav app like waze, music, etc,) and has a hands-free option.

I just installed this one Safely Go

there are others for Android and IPhone.

There are many apps out there but you can try "Autoresponder + SMS Scheduler" to set-up Auto Reply Text Message when you’re Busy or when you're driving. I have followed this guide and I can schedule auto reply when I need it https://androidscrib.com/setup-auto-rep ... e-android/

This thread is over 2 years old, per the guidelines at the top of the forum, please don't post on a thread this old.

If the idea is in a recent thread, then just add your comments to that thread. If the thread is over 6 months old, you might consider just starting a new thread, but posting a link to the original idea and giving a reference to the suggestions box item so that people can continue to vote it up.
