This currently doesn't exist.

I'm a new Wazer and just came searching for how to add lanes in the editor. Surprised that it's not possible!

I was driving today and there were two left turns in quick succession. The client said keep left as I approached the first one when in fact I needed to be in the middle lane until I had passed the first, then move into the left lane.

Add lane number for pothole reports

Postby b_blaze » Thu Mar 09, 2017 10:32 pm

Everyday on my morning commute I get at least 6 reports of potholes on the road. Since it's dark outside for my morning drive I can't see the pothole. It would be nice to have the app tell me which lane the pothole is in since I'm on a 4 lane freeway. It would be even nicer if the audio alert would also include the lane number.

ORZ, 4 years ago topic. Until now, Waze still doesn't have the lane guidance function like Google Map. I like Waze because it can show a lot important information from other users. But I have to change to Google Map when I go to new place. In Singapore, too many roads are not only left and right. Even at one side, there may be 2 or 3 different exits.

Issue with Waze because no line guidance

Postby virtue1967 » Fri Jan 11, 2019 7:39 am

I was travaling a long way a month ago and run into an issue because Waze did not show a split in line on the route. This could have been avoided if Waze had line guidance. 90% of the navigation maps out there have this as standard hence the importance of the functionality.

Please add this to Waze.
1. Line guidance.
2. Avoid - Unpaved road, minor roads

Right now you can only have the app avoid freeways, ferries, and unpaved roads (all or just long ones).

How do you define "minor roads"?

Any sign of implementing lane guidance?
It has been requested so many years. Also voted over 10k on the waze voice web.

Staff noticed the requests, however we don't have clear info or ETA for now.

I agree!! That needs to be added. It would take the app to the TOP. Been using it for years and love it. That would make it soooo much better.
